Getting to
the numbers.
Managers had to go through a process to get performance data. I built a shared Looker Studio dashboard connecting GA4, Search Console and SEMrush, replacing repeated Excel reporting.

The process was
part of the problem.
Some information and goals weren’t being tracked. Even getting performance data involved a process for managers. Reporting needed attention across marketing, with SEO as the main focus of my work.
I worked on a shared reporting view rather than treating the task as a set of separate SEO audits. The data sources needed to work together so the team could compare program performance.
Build the view.
Make it usable.
Connect the sources
I learned Looker Studio, connected GA4, Search Console and SEMrush, and developed the dashboard. That brought the reporting sources into one view instead of repeated Excel work.
Share the work
I standardised KPI definitions and shared reporting views for consistent program comparisons. Once the dashboard was complete, I presented the automated tool to the marketing department.
Request. Prepare. Repeat.
Managers went through a process to get performance data. Reporting involved repeated Excel work.
Connected sources.
Consistent definitions.

Looker Studio reporting views gave the team a consistent basis for program comparisons.
Internal dashboards and department data are not published here.
Less repeated reporting.
A shared view.
The dashboard replaced manual Excel reporting. Leadership reported about 40% less reporting time. The shared definitions and views also gave the team a consistent basis for program comparisons.
The reporting-time figure is a leadership-reported estimate, not an independently measured before-and-after study.
Someone who
saw the work.
“He learned how to use the tool, problem-solve in it, and connect our data sources to provide our team with real-time SEO data.”
This work happened alongside my degree. I graduated in April 2026, and my UC Online role concluded that month.
